MCoS AGM June 3rd 2012

REGISTER NOW & NOTE CHANGE IN LOCATION

MCoS will hold our Annual General Meeting and Member Consultation on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the MacKenzie Art Gallery – Agra Torchinsky Salon (3475 Albert Street, Regina at the corner of 23rd Avenue)

Free parking is available in the lot on weekends

Registration includes lunch catered by Jamdon’s Restaurant and Catering and Mosaic pass. 

Please advise the office when you plan to pick up your pass, or if you do not plan to visit Mosaic.

We look forward to celebrating our successes and sharing our new Strategic Plan with you.  We welcome your input and involvement.

 Elections

We will be holding elections for all positions. 

Please see attached biographies of nominees to date.  We accept nominations at any time, including form the floor, until nominations are closed.

The Nomination package is attached.  Please contact the office for additional information, to express interest or make inquiries. 

Out of town delegates can make hotel reservations at any of the hotels listed at http://www.saskculture.sk.ca/cmsupload/fckeditor/Non_funding_pdfs/2012%20Hotel%20rates%20PDF.pdf.  Be sure to ask for the SaskCulture rate. 

Audited Financial Statements As per the Non-Profit Corporations Act, the 2011-12 audited financial statements for MCoS can be found on by clicking financial statement. They will be in the annual report.

May is  Asian Heritage Month

May is Asian Heritage Month. This acknowledges the long and rich history of Asian Canadians and their contributions to Canada. It also provides an opportunity for Canadians across the country to reflect on and celebrate the contributions of Canadians of Asian heritage to the growth and prosperity of Canada. MCoS Seeks Charitable Donations MCoS accepts charitable donations and welcomes your involvement! As a registered charitable organization, we are able to issue tax receipts. Donations over $200 will receive a complimentary Multifaith Calendar. We appreciate your support of multiculturalism throughout the province. What better way to celebrate the holidays than sharing your good fortune in ways that celebrate multicultural values. Charitable receipts will be issued for tax purposes. Your donation helps to promote Multiculturalism across Saskatchewan. You can donate online at www.mcos.ca or through the phone, mail, e-mail and in person.
